These concept art pieces are from an unreleased project where my goal was to represent the inner universe of a musical creator. I focused on her internal struggles with the creative process—something every artist faces—attempting to visualize the maze of conflicting thoughts and emotions involved in creation.
Since the project was about translating music into imagery, I aimed to infuse the compositions with vibrant color, simulating sound waves as bursts of light to reflect the synthetic nature of the music. The aesthetic is a blend of pop and emo, capturing the essence of youthful, rebellious artistry.
Technically, I combined traditional drawing with 3D models, using overpainting and photographic textures. For one composition, I experimented with Stable Diffusion-generated city textures to explore new techniques.
